Here are a few photos that I took, and things that I done, while wandering around town.
I think Dublin’s Street Art scene is definitely coming into its own. I love walking around corners and being surprised by art.
After a walk through Stephen’s Green I decided to take the tour of ‘The Little Museum of Dublin’. I had heard great things about it and I was not disappointed. A tour is a must, so as to get the most out of the collection, which has been donated by members of the public.
Afterwards I had a lovely glass of red wine and an espresso downstairs in ‘Hatch & Sons’. I love this place. My sister Emma’s boyfriend Conor, who is a fan of his own ‘Man About Town Days’ introduced me to it and their baked eggs.
Another lovely spot for a tea/coffee break is the Le Petit Parisien Cafe on Dame St.
Here you can be sitting in Paris while looking out into Dublin.
The Brocante Market is held on the 3rd Sun of every month from 11.00 – 17.00.
Here you can find pre-loved furniture and homewear, second-hand, refurbished, antique and hand-crafted stuff for your house, kitchen and garden.
Another Dublin market that I love is The Dublin Flea Market, which is also held in the Dublin Food Co-Op. This takes place on the last Sunday of every month.
The Dublin Food Co-Op is situated at No. 12 Newmarket Square.
When up in town I always like to pop in here and light a candle.
A peace and quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Grafton St. & South William St.
